Learn about our 30 years of history

1995

Our parent company began operations in Monterrey, N.L., as a specialized factory in precision metal manufacturing.

2014

Our founders saw an opportunity in the waste generated by perforated sheet metal from the plant, recognizing its high aesthetic value.

2015

Astyl is established as a brand and company specializing in metal solutions.

2015

First major commercial project in Mexico: Pueblo Serena façade. Through this project, we established our first mounting system, covering an area of 17,717 ft².

2016

We obtained the license for Ombrae technology, an innovative patented perforation process that transforms light and shadow to create a unique and dynamic visual impact.

2017

First project using Ombrae technology: Park Point, an impressive 9,688 ft² façade that fuses art and functionality.

2018

First international commercial project: South Texas Food Bank in Laredo, Texas.

2019

We achieved the perfect combination of Ombrae and Perforart technologies with the Show Center project, an 86,111 ft² development incorporating 2,709 panels and totaling 4,872,000 perforations.

2020

The Ritz Hotel was recognized with several architecture awards, including Obra del Año 2020, winner of the 2020 Global Future Design Awards (GFDA), and bronze medalist at the 2020 International Design Awards (IDA).

2022

We are proud to have our own paint application line that meets AAMA 2604 and AAMA 2605 standards, ensuring durability and exceptional color and gloss retention in our coatings.

2024

Acquisition of our own machine for producing corrugated panels using Corrugami technology.

2025

Celebrating 10 years of transforming spaces: over 832,484 ft² and 270 completed projects.
